Batty on Air — We Have a Podcast Now. Yes, Really.
Something rather exciting has happened.
After years of writing about hotels, airlines, restaurants, espresso, and the occasional fact that turns out to be completely wrong — Batty on Tour now has a podcast. It is called Batty on Air. Which works on two levels if you think about it, and we are very pleased with ourselves about that.
Batty on Air is everything this blog is, but spoken aloud — with a co-host, a bit of music, the occasional sound effect, and the same commitment to opinions that are either very well-informed or at least very confidently delivered. Travel stories. Fine dining. Aviation. And a recurring segment where things everyone believes turn out to be things nobody checked.
Episode one is out now. It involves a Thai island, an airport that used to be a hut with a manual weighing scale, a hotel that opened during a global pandemic for exactly two guests — and a moment of silence that says more than most things with words.
Three minutes. Worth it.
Subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. New episodes coming — whenever Batty lands somewhere worth talking about.
Which, based on the schedule, is unreasonably often.
